What is SmartLyft with Renuvion®?

SmartLyft is a customized minimally invasive (non-surgical) lower face and neck lift that can take years off your appearance. Unlike a regular facelift, this procedure doesn’t reposition the skin and muscles of your face. Instead, it focuses on jowls and sagging or excess fat in the neck. 

SmartLyft includes liposuction of the neck and jowls, followed by Renuvion® treatment to tighten loose skin in these areas. Renuvion® is a skin-tightening procedure that uses radiofrequency (RF) energy to contract collagen fibers beneath the skin. The device creates a plasma stream from helium gas and RF energy, which can be delivered under the skin through the same incisions used for liposuction. When combined with SmartLyft, Renuvion® can create a much smoother, younger appearance without the incisions and tissue trauma of a facelift.

Liposuction is often used for body contouring to remove unwanted fat, but it can also have an anti-aging effect on the neck and jowls. Fat tends to accumulate under the chin with age and is particularly hard to remove with diet or exercise. This submental fat, combined with skin laxity, can worsen the aged appearance of the neck. Liposuction can help reduce a double chin and jowls to improve the facial profile.
