Dr. Langdon performs PrecisionTx® laser facelifts with local anesthesia, and the entire treatment usually takes less than two hours. Afterward, you can drive yourself home and return to your normal daily activities.

After numbing the lower cheeks and neck, Dr. Langdon will make a few small skin incisions to insert a fiber optic. This laser fiber delivers 1440nm wavelength energy, which liquefies fat cells and safely heats the connective tissue in the skin. The heat causes the collagen to contract and tighten while also stimulating a healing response that increases collagen production over time. The incisions required for this minimally invasive procedure are tiny and won’t leave an obvious scar once healed.

PrecisionTx® is not considered a surgical procedure like a traditional facelift and has minimal side effects since it’s less invasive. You can go home right after the procedure and resume your usual routine. However, some minor swelling, bruising, and soreness should be expected. These side effects will subside over the next few days. Most patients return to work in just a day or two.
