Best Laser Treatments for Acne

August 1, 2019

Although acne is often perceived as a teenage skin condition, men and women from all walks of life can face it. Acne results from clogged oil glands that can develop into pimples or cysts and can make you feel insecure in your personal and professional life. The good news is that there is a new laser treatment called LaserClear that can improve your acne and help you achieve the clearer, brighter skin you deserve.

What is LaserClear?

In a LaserClear treatment, two advanced lasers are used to deliver gentle energy to the skin without the need for anesthesia. After a number of treatments spaced a few weeks apart, up to 80% of patients enjoy the long-term improvement of their acne. Fortunately, LaserClear comes with minimal discomfort or downtime so you can resume your daily activities right away.

We are pleased to be one of the only laser centers in the area to offer both of the lasers required for LaserClear treatments.

How is LaserClear Different?

In the past, the most common treatment for moderate to severe acne was oral antibiotics. While this is an effective treatment option, oral antibiotics usually need to be taken for years. Unfortunately, many patients must continue taking them until their acne resolves on its own.

Many patients with serious cases of acne have also taken Accutane to improve their skin. Accutane is a very powerful drug that can have serious side effects and may need to be repeated to show optimal results.

LaserClear differs from oral antibiotics and Accutane because it doesn’t require any medication and has no serious side effects. It’s a safe acne treatment that uses FDA-approved lasers and can leave you with beautiful results.

Great friendly staff. I had the Picosure laser done, and it made a huge difference with my acne scarring in just two treatments. I can’t wait to go back for more!!
